Description
This course will help you prepare for employment. This course is for you if you want to learn a variety of textile craft and stitch techniques. You will develop both you sewing machine and hand stitch skills. You will consider how you may turn your crafting into a small business.
Who is this course for?
This course is for you if you would like to develop your skills in textile crafts and begin exhibiting or selling your work or setting up your own small business. Our Tailored Learning courses are for people who live in Derbyshire aged 19 and over.
How will I learn?
This is a classroom-based course. There will be many practical activities with guidance from your tutor. You will be given various tasks and can work on your own projects. You will be given support and feedback from your tutor so you can improve.
What will I need?
If you wish to bring your own sewing machine do, or you can use one of ours. You may wish to have a folder to store handouts, notes or your work. Your tutor will give you support and feedback so you know what to do to improve.
