This friendly, hands-on course is designed to help you feel good through craft. Each week, you'll try a range of mixed media techniques like collage, painting, printing, fabric work, and more. You don't need any art experience, just a willingness to have a go! You'll learn how creative activities can help reduce stress, improve mood, and give you time to slow down. Along the way, you'll build confidence, connect with others, and enjoy the process of making something by hand. Take time for yourself and get creative.

Who is this course for?
This course is for adults aged 19 and over who want to boost their mental health and wellbeing in a relaxed, creative and supportive space. If you are a beginner or if you have done mixed media classes in the past - you are welcome!

How will I learn?
This is a classroom-based course. There will be many practical activities with guidance from your tutor. You will be given various tasks and can work on your own projects. You will be given support and feedback from your tutor so you can improve.

What will I need?
Please wear old clothes or a shirt or apron as you may get messy in the mixed media techniques You may wish to have a folder to store handouts, notes or your work. Your tutor will give you support and feedback so you know what to do to improve.
