Description
This course helps adults with learning disabilities build confidence in everyday essential skills. You will learn practical skills to support independence and prepare for your next steps. The course also looks at progression opportunities, including moving on to a qualification that matches your goals and interests. The course is delivered in a friendly and supportive environment, working in small groups so you get the help you need.
Who is this course for?
This course is for adults with learning disabilities who want to improve their everyday skills, gain confidence, and take steps towards further learning or qualifications.
How will I learn?
You will learn in a way that is simple and easy to understand. Your tutor will use clear language, pictures and hands on activities to help you learn at your own pace. You will be in a small group with one to one support and you can ask for help whenever you need it.
What will I need?
Your tutor will provide all materials, but you may wish to bring along a notebook and pen or pencil. A water bottle or money for a drink.
