Description
This course will help you build your confidence with learning,
Lots of people do not use information technology (IT) as they don't know how to use it or worry they may do something wrong. This course will teach you the basics such as how to switch a computer or phone on. You will learn how to safely use the internet for tasks such as shopping, searching for bus timetables, recipes and sending emails.
Who is this course for?
This course is for you if you are a beginner. Our courses are for people who live in Derbyshire aged 19 and over.
How will I learn?
This is a classroom-based course. There will be practical activities with guidance from your tutor. The course will be a mix of tutor-led activities and individual work. Your tutor will give you support and feedback so you know what to do to improve.
What will I need?
You will be looking at a screen so if you normally wear glasses to read then please have them with you. If you have a phone or tablet you would like to learn more about, please bring it with you. You may want to bring something to make notes.
