Description
This short introductory course is for parents/carers of neurodivergent children and will help you to develop your understanding of neurodiversity. You will learn about different aspects of neurodiversity, how they can impact on learning and discover ways to best support your child.
Who is this course for?
This course is for you if you are a parent or carer of a neurodivergent child or you suspect your child may be neurodivergent. Our courses are for people who live in Derbyshire aged 19 and over.
How will I learn?
This is a classroom based course in the upstairs room at Birdholme children's centre. There will be activities and group discussions with guidance from your tutor. The course will be a mix of tutor-led activities, individual work and group work. Your tutor will give you support and feedback so you know what to do to improve.

You will access this course through Microsoft Teams. You will be part of a live class, with a tutor, but with everyone doing the lessons from their own home.
