Description
All of our new Tailored Learning courses are matched to one of seven ‘purposes' which have been designed by the Department for Education to recognise the wider benefits of learning.
This course will help you to maintain your health and wellbeing.
Cooking for Wellbeing – Flavours of India is a 6?week course focused on supporting physical health through nutritious, flavourful home cooking inspired by Indian cuisine. You will learn to prepare balanced, wholesome meals while exploring the health benefits of spices, herbs and fresh ingredients. The course builds practical skills and confidence to support healthier everyday eating habits
Who is this course for?
This course is for you if you would like to improve your wellbeing and have not previously completed our Flavours of India course. Our courses are for people who live in Derbyshire aged 19 and over.
How will I learn?
This is a classroom-based / outdoor course. There will be practical activities with guidance from your tutor. The course will be a mix of tutor-led activities, individual work and group work. Your tutor will give you support and feedback so you know what to do to improve.
What will I need?
All ingredients will be provided but you should bring food containers to carry your food home in. You may want to bring something to make notes.
