Our Tailored Learning courses are matched to one of seven ‘purposes' which have been designed by the Department for Education to recognise the wider benefits of learning. This course will help build parenting skills and give you the confidence to support your children's learning. Step into a magical adventure at Ilkeston Library with Family fun – Bear hunt! Inspired by the much loved story We're Going on a Bear Hunt, this warm and welcoming session invites children and their grown ups to explore together through a playful bear themed treasure hunt, an engaging story time, and a selection of simple, creative activities. Perfect for sparking imagination and encouraging family bonding, this session offers a relaxed space where little ones can learn, play, and discover alongside their adults—because every great adventure is better when shared.
Who is this course for?
This course is for you and your children to attend together. Our courses are for people who live in the EMCCA region aged 19 and over.
How will I learn?
This is a library-based course. There will be practical activities with guidance from your tutor. Your tutor will give you support and feedback so you know what to do to improve.
