Are you someone who would like to gain life skills in cookery and try out some healthy lunch ideas? This interactive 2-hour session is designed for people who want to learn more about healthy lunch options and make some healthy lunch ideas to try together. Through hands-on activities and simple, practical demonstrations, you will discover how to put together delicious, healthy lunches that are affordable. From making tasty snacks to sharing easy tips on cutting down sugar and processed foods, this workshop builds confidence in gaining simple cookery skills and making healthy choices. This session is suitable for adults with support needs. It is also suitable for parent's who want to learn to make health lunches for their children.
Who is this course for?
Our courses are for adults over 19 who live in Derbyshire. This course is for people who want to gain cookery skills and find out more about healthy lunch choices. the course is suitable for adults with support needs. The course is suitable for parents who want to find our more about making healthy lunches for their children.
How will I learn?
This is a classroom-based course. There will be practical activities with guidance from your tutor. Your tutor will give you support and feedback so you know what to do to improve.
What will I need?
you will be in a kitchen so please make sure you have suitable clothing, all have clean hands and long hair is tied back. Aprons can be provided. You may want to bring something to make notes.
